Fishin’ At The Channel Black Currant Black Tea: 80 g $12.00
Named for our #1 fishing spot at Loon Straits – The Channel. The Channel separates the mainland from Monkman Island. The deep water in The Channel stays cool during the warmer summer months and the fish in Lake Winnipeg tend to linger in the area. Our black tea is created by blending fine black tea with the juicy flavor of black currants. It has a strong fruity aroma and sweet tangy taste.

Moose Point Mint Tea: 80 g $12.00
Moose Point lies across the Bay from Loon Straits Wilderness Retreat.
During the summer months, the moose in the area can sometimes be seen standing along the granite shores of the Point; hence the name. Moose Point Mint Tea is the perfect tea to soothe and de-stress. Licorice root & Fennel aid digestion and soothe the stomach, while Peppermint helps to calm & relieve stress.

Moon Time Tea: 40 g $12.00
This tea was created especially for women, to assist with symptoms associated with PMS, peri-menopause and menopause. The tea is blended with herbs known to tone & strengthen the entire female reproductive system. Rich in vitamins & minerals used to restore vitality & balance. Contains lemon balm and peppermint from our gardens, nettle & raspberry wildcrafted at Loon Straits, Manitoba.

Soothe & Sleep Tea: 40 g $12.00
This herbal tea is lightly floral, delicious & calming. It contains lemon balm, chamomile flowers & lavender from our gardens, as well as wild rose petals wildcrafted at Loon Straits, MB. These ingredients assist in relaxing & soothing the nervous system to help move into quiet rest & slumber.

Salves
Our salves, ointments & rubs are inspired by recipes from our great grandmother, Rose Ann Monkman, who was the local midwife/healer at Loon Straits, Manitoba.
Muscle & Joint Rub: 40 g $15.00
Made with herbs and essential oils including arnica, camphor & eucalyptus oil, with a base of olive oil, beeswax & Vitamin E. Helps to ease the pain of sore muscles & joints.
Red Clover Salve: 40 g $15.00
Made with Red Clover wildcrafted from Loon Straits, and Calendula collected from our organic gardens, with a base of olive oil, beeswax & Vitamin E. Red Clover is known to be helpful in the treatment of Eczema & Psoriasis.
Warming Wildflower Honey Salve: 40 g $15.00
Use this salve as a protective balm to help heal extremely dry hands, fingers and heels. Honey is great for skin due to its natural antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Contains cinnamon and clove essential oils which produce a warming sensation when applied to the skin. Base contains olive oil, beeswax, honey, and Vitamin E.
Heart Opening Rose Petal Salve: 40 g $15.00
This gentle beeswax salve can be applied to the hands, body & face. Made with Sunflower Oil infused with pink rose petals & rosehips, beeswax, honey, Vitamin E, & Geranium essential oil. To open the heart, apply the balm over the heart area on the front & back of the body. Breathe deeply to allow the medicine to affect healing & opening.
Handmade Soaps
We handcraft our soaps in small batches using herbs & flowers collected from both our organic gardens and from the land at Loon Straits, Manitoba.
Lavender Soap: 90 g $7.00
Made from a base of coconut and canola oil, this fresh-smelling soap contains essential oils of Lavender & Clary Sage, and is sprinkled with lavender buds.
Ingredients: Canola Oil, Distilled water, Coconut Oil, Lye, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Lavender essential oil, Clary Sage essential oil, Lavender Buds
Creamy Earl Grey Soap: 90 g $7.00
This lovely soft green soap gets its color from black tea leaves and citrusy bergamot oil. Sprinkled with Butterfly Pea Flowers & lavender buds, this creamy dreamy soap will soften and cleanse your skin beautifully.
Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Distilled water, Lye, Bergamot essential oil, Lavender essential oil, Vanilla essential oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Ultramarine Purple INCI: C177007
Wild Roses Soap: 90 g $7.00
Made from a base of coconut and canola oil, this soothing soap contains essential oils of Geranium and Patchouli, and is sprinkled with wild rose petals. Smells like a beautiful wild rose just coming in to bloom.
Ingredients: Canola oil, Distilled water, Coconut oil, Lye, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Geranium essential oil, Patchouli essential oil, Rose petals.
Sunflower Soap: 90 g $7.00
Made from a base of coconut & sunflower oils, this lively smelling soap contains the essential oil of lemongrass, and is sprinkled with calendula (marigold) petals.
Ingredients: Sunflower oil, Distilled water, Coconut oil, Palm oil, Lye, Lemongrass essential oil, Grapefruit Seed Extract, Calendula petals.
